The Good Shepherd
I am reminded of David, the man after God' own heart who defended his sheep agains lions and bears. That is the kind of devotion and bravery that God has toward His little children He says plainly,
Nothing can snatch you away from My hand.It is also a warning to His enemies, that if anyone messes with His children, they will face the terror of The Almighty. It is glorious marvel that God has such great devotion to His elect. That He loves us and wants only good things for us. Even the demons tremble at His name. The earth shakes at His presence. Yet, we enjoy this compassionate, kind, thoughtful, caring and honest relationship in His presence through reading of the Bible and praying. How glorious and wonderful it is to be in His hand. To feel His Spirit in our midst and to feel His guiding hand in our lives.
John 10:11
"I am the good shepherd, the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep."
