The Battle Belongs to The Lord
We are at war with the forces of evil. There is a great battle going on for your soul. This war has been brewing for eons. The question is,
Where will you spend eternity?Will it be in Heaven or Hell? Jesus said very cleary,
I hold the keys of Death and of Hades(Revelation 1:18) What does that mean? Well, that means He holds the key to Hell, or in other words, He decides who goes to Heaven or Hell. Not the Devil, or the prophets or anybody else, only Him. The other key that He holds is the key to death. That means He decides who lives or dies and when, no one else. When you see so much war going on in the world, understand, that it is predetermined by God and it is under God's control not some crazy maniac with a gun or a nuke. The other question is more difficult. How do you save someone? Well, you don't really save anyone. Ultimately, God is the one that saves. Jesus said,
And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that all of which He hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day(John 6:39) The only thing left is to trust in Him and believe in Him because deep down inside you know that you are a child of God and no one can take that away from you, not even death. The most sacred thing about salvation is that God is the one giving you to Jesus Christ. And, it is glorious!
2 Chronicles 20:15
"And he said, Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army, for the battle does not belong to you, but to God.
